Urban Solar (Solar systems for urban areas/applications)

iPYRAMID™ arrays are suitable for installation above any open spaces, including parking lots, factory or port territories, railway and bus terminals, marine passenger terminals, ponds and lakes, swimming pools, or waste sites, to name a few.
The iPyramid system is fully customizable at no additional cost. Adjustable height allows a solar array to be elevated above the surface at a height of up to 10 meters. The space between iPYRAMID™ collectors and the density of sub-arrays can be adjusted depending on application requirements. Adjustable spacing allows our customers to choose a system optimal for the target energy output and a particular use of the ground beneath the array.
Industrial rooftops are another practicable application of iPYRAMID™ arrays. Quadra Solar’s CPV solutions enable the conversion of non-productive rooftops of industrial facilities into efficient power generation plants.

 

Farm Solar (Solar systems for agricultural areas/ applications)

Quadra Solar’s CPV solutions offer the promise of significant economic and environmental benefits to farmers.
Farmers can benefit from self-powered farms. While iPYRAMID™ arrays harness solar energy, farmers and ranchers can continue to raise crops and livestock beneath them. Self-generated solar electricity benefits farmers by lighting and heating buildings and greenhouses, drying crops, and powering water pumps and irrigation systems.
The elevated configuration of an iPYRAMID™ CPV deployment can be erected at a sufficient height above ground to allow for the full productive use of the land beneath for agricultural or other purposes. The well-spaced collector bearing pipes allow 90-95% of sunrays to reach the ground below. This translates into a considerable reduction of any environmental land impact of the iPYRAMID™ system when compared with conventional solar panel arrays. The iPYRAMID™ sub-arrays can be elevated to any required height, up to 10 meters, and spaced out optimally for the efficient utilization of the farm grounds. The ease of customization allows our customers to select the most appropriate configuration for the particular usage of the land beneath.
